Gone Cube-n'!

As a member of the Facebook Phenomenom I am constantly updated of statuses..Moment by moment plays of what's going on in peoples lives from here in Hot Texas to Cool Seattle to Freezing Austria...(Notice the temperature progression--as I sit here with my "summer scarf" on)

It can be overwhelming at times to "keep up", but also dreamy when I ooh and ahh by my vicariuos experience of Disney through someones 125 posted pics..

So, as I sit here in my newish kinda job, I was thinkin' would it be just as interesting for me to post my status. I imagine the thrill of those strumming through their friends to be updated of there wherabouts..and then...my status..."Gone Cube-n!" Wow! let me sit back, close my eyes and dream about that one...ahhh! the silent hum of the air (conditioner) blowing my hair, the 3 easy-breezy grey fabric 1/2 walls (1/2 because when I sit I can't be seen--when I stand they come to my shoulders) that surround me--w/ a hint of relaxing blue & beige, and the tweeting of the gentle ringing phones...Relaxing, huh!

Cube-n isn't so bad. It's like having my own little office. When I was shown my space of seating, all I could think about is how will I decorate.. So from my teaching days I pulled from the boxes my desk size disco ball (yes it spins if I turn it on--really cool when I shine my mini-flashlight on it)and my mirrored hanging discs that hang like a groovy-shimmery curtain of silver, teal, navy and pink in front of me. I really love it!

So really, I guess any place you go will be what you make of it.

Now for you,if you can't status on the white sandy beaches of Destin, FL, think on what brings you joy. Think on what makes you smile and even giggle...even if it produces a little chuckle..Your day will look sunnier and your heart will be full and warm..no matter where you are!
