What to Wear Wednesday : maxi&boots

Oh maxi dresses! 

I just don't know what I would do without them. I love their flow and sense of girly-ness and comfort..c'mon tell me about it. 

I love that it's only one item of clothing. Just add shoes and accessories. I love that I can bend, jump, and criss-cross-applesauce with nothing I fear to be revealed by an awkward accident. 

I love them so much and am always searching for ways to make them all-year-rounders. 

Now enters my endless search on Pinterest.

My version is a nod to the travely season around the corner. Roll it up and pack it. And you'll be cute and put together with no wrinkles.

Spiraling Rapunzel Zucchini Noodles

Now I realize that I may be the last one to board this simple gadget bandwagon, so I have delayed in making such a big deal about it. 

But the more I have used this gadget, and have had excellent results, I then realized there may be a few like me that would love to have their mind happily blown by such simplicity.

As fast as you scrolled through those pictures is about as fast as it goes. 

I have used these cute curly Q's as a pasta replacement.
I mean you can still have that slurping slapping noodle against your chin experience with these.
And might I say the options are endless..Think pasta--Insert zucchini noodles.

Below is my version of a recipe in the Against All Grain Cookbook.
Lemon Basil Sea Bass in Papillote. 

{hashtag} no filter!!

A base of the zucchini pasta, a white fish, sliced tomato and lemon a sprinkling of herbs, salt and pepper all wrapped up in a cute paper parchment package and in the oven it goes..

My favorite part is the big reveal.
Slitting through the paper and as the steam escapes the fog clears and boom...it's Dinner..and your welcome!

     Shhh! Don't tell. They were at the bottom of the drawer..

Blazer: 3 quarter length sleeves. American Eagle

Green Jeans: Gap Outlet

Ankle Boots: Target oldies 

Tie on a scarf (rue21) and it's a wrap.

What to Wear Wednesday...let's hear it for the boys!

FALL y'all!!

Need I say more. 

Introducing my staple winter look. 

This look is borrowed from the men's side of the store. I looked in clearance last year for flannel shirts at Target. I got smalls because they are slightly oversized but not so big it swallowed me up. I also like the longer sleeves because it's like built in mittens. 

I mean really, the cool thing is most men don't buy small shirts or admit that they do. So there is quite the selection.  

I also do this with men's sweaters as well. It's kinda funny as my hubs and I walk out of the men's section and the only one carrying something is me. ;)
